How We Got Here
Built from a conviction, not a business plan.
Vibrant Life Home Care was founded roughly two years ago by Lydea Millet, who saw a gap between what adults with developmental disabilities needed and what most care settings actually provided. Too many homes felt clinical, impersonal — designed around systems rather than people. Lydea believed there was a better way: to create a warm, family-centered environment where adults with developmental disabilities can truly thrive.
She opened Vibrant Life Home Care in Loma Linda with one clear intention — a home that looks, feels, and functions like a real home. A place rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential while living in an environment that promotes independence, self-worth, and personal growth. From the carefully chosen furnishings to the freshly prepared meals, every detail reflects that original conviction.
Two years in, that vision holds. Compassionate caregivers work closely with residents, families, physicians, and Regional Center professionals to ensure high-quality, person-centered care — because residents here aren't managed, they're known. Staff learn preferences, rhythms, and personalities. Families stay in close contact. And case managers know they can call with a question and get a straight answer.

Lydea Millet
Licensed Administrator · Vibrant Life Home Care Residential Care Home
Lydea founded Vibrant Life Home Care after [add years of experience] working in residential care settings, where she became convinced that adults with disabilities deserve something better than institutional-style living. She leads the home's day-to-day operations with a hands-on, compassionate approach — often the first person families speak with and an active presence on the floor alongside staff.
As the licensed administrator of record, Lydea is responsible for everything from staffing and compliance to resident care planning and family communication. She brings both the regulatory knowledge and the human instinct required to run a care home that families can genuinely trust.
Her door — and her phone — are always open. Families and case managers are welcome to contact her directly with questions about fit, current availability, or any aspect of care.
